Bask in the zen of nature through yoga and a hike. Meet Beth at Rocks State Park where we will warm up with a few yoga poses before setting off into the woods on a moderate, one mile hike. We will stop to admire the sites and take pictures before ending with a flow to stretch it all out. Pack your lunch and join us at the tables afterward for a picnic!
We recommend that you wear layers (shirts, jackets, gloves, hats) to stay warm and remove as you heat up. Sturdy shoes are a must as the ground will be uneven at times.
What to bring?
- Yoga mat or beach towel for our flow after the hike
- Layers as mentioned above
- Pack your own lunch, we will have a cooler
- Water bottle to stay hydrated
Parking is right next to the picnic area. We will meet at the nearby Rock Ridge picnic area (some might know it as King and Queen seat area).
Lunches and mats/towels can remain in your car until after the hike.
