Kim began practicing yoga back in 2005 as a means to rest her body between long training runs and weight-based workouts. Over the years, she continued to show up on the mat, and soon realized that yoga was much more than a stretching exercise. She discovered the many varieties of the physical practices of yoga, gravitating towards power vinyasa, and soon began practicing and adopting the yogic lifestyle as part of her everyday living.

Kim attributes yoga to making her a better mother, wife, daughter, and friend. She appreciates the balance that it brings to her life, while simultaneously challenging her to learn and grow deeper with each passing day.

Outside of the studio, you will likely see her out on the road, driving her three kids between school and youth sport commitments. She is excited to share her passion and energy with the Aluma community!
