Susan is a life-long lover of all things fitness related, a former competitive figure skater set the stage for a lifelong love affair with sports and fitness. Susan had the honor of coaching figure skating for 20 years at the United States Naval Academy — the love of graceful fluid movement will always be in her blood and fluid smooth transitions are part of every class. A 35-year career in the fitness industry along with partaking in competitive rowing its easy to accumulate years of wear and tear on the body. Susan fell in love with the challenge and strength it takes to practice yoga, the fluid and grace of movement while stilling the mind — yoga became a natural fit.

Susan received her 200 yoga teacher training with Red Lila Yoga in 2015, and has since practiced and taught to earn her ERYT200 teacher classification. Susan loves to challenge her students to move mindfully with power, grace, and control with some loving food for thought for your soul. Susan feels blessed to share space with her students as they always teach the teacher. Susan consistently attends workshops surrounding her love of yoga. When she is not practicing yoga you will most likely find her lifting weights or walking the 3 loves of her life, her soft coated wheaten terriers Capisce, Piccola, and Pazza.
